Let me say this, and let me clear: God doesn’t act on reason, or logic, or sense (as humans perceive): God acts on HIS WILL. This is called, Perfect Wisdom.

Sometimes, it’s difficult for us to understand why the lord will bless people who are of no meaningful positive impact to society while there are very obvious individuals whom He should bless, and He chooses to not bless them. Yes, He chooses to not bless them.

So. From my understanding of scriptures, Here are some reasons why SOME PRAYERS ARE NOT ANSWERED.

  1. No matter how desperate you are, Nothing will make God DO today what He has designed to be done tomorrow.
    John 2:4 says;
    Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

Someone said: God answers in eternity’s calendar, not urgency’s clock. God is in yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever all at the same time. So your today’s prayers, He heard them even before you were formed, and he answered them, even before you knew how to walk.

Some prayers require:
• Preparation of the person
• Alignment of circumstances
• Maturity to steward the answer

A premature blessing can become a curse.
There are times, when acting today would be God releasing a blessing prematurely, and that can have dangerous consequences.

Imagine that Man fell in Genesis 3, and Gods plan for man’s restoration was stated in Genesis 3:15; yet the scriptures say: Jesus was slain from the foundations of the Earth. But we know that, Jesus died several thousands of years later.
Most of us view the actions of God through the lenses of time. But imagine that you are God, and for you There is no such thing as Past, Present Or Future, Everything is happening before you all at the same time, would anything surprise you? I hear People say, God didn’t know Adam would eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.
See what the lord says in Isaiah 46:10.
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’

One night, I was out heading somewhere. As I walked, I was also praying. The moment I got to my destination, the lord spoke to me and practically told me: YOU ARE NOT YET MATURE FOR WHAT YOU ARE ASKING FOR.

What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.
Galatians 4:1 NIV.

The NLT says it like this: If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had.

Let me say this, One way you hasten or speed up the prayer answering process is by intentionally speeding up your maturity time.
In 1 Corinthians 3:2, Paul said:
I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.

It’s almost like God was saying through Paul; You are supposed to have matured, but you still aren’t. And as long as you don’t mature, I cannot share some things with you.

The quicker you mature, the better your chances of getting certain prayers answered.

How do we Speed up this Maturity process?
We must get into the PURSUIT OF GOD. A deliberate search to learn, know and experience God on an intimate level. Maturity is always product of revelation. And revelation is always born from intimacy.

Jeremiah 29:13 says it like this: You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Usually, It’s intimacy that generates result in the secret place.
When God answers some persons and doesn’t answer yours; it doesn’t mean He loves those people more than you, it just shows that you are not as deep as you think.
You see God answers prayers from the inside to the outside, not from the outside to the inside. So, the ones closest to him always gets the result first.
See Galatians 6:10,
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, ESPECIALLY to those who belong to the family of believers.

The point is, THE NEARER YOU ARE TO HIM, THE MORE OF HIM YOU WILL SEE.

Let Us Pray

  1. No dark meeting held on my behalf shall prosper, in Jesus’ name.
  2. Let the head of every serpent power fashioned against me be broken, in the name of Jesus.
  3. I claim back my goods presently residing in wrong hands, in the name of Jesus.
  4. O Lord, enlarge my coasts beyond my wildest dream.
